XIX 73_ CODE OF MEDICAL DEONTOLOGY - 19Article 75.1 DOPING IN SPORTS A doctor should never fraudulently contribute to the improvement of the athlete's performance. Article 75.2 The participation of a doctor in doping is contrary to Medical Ethics as it constitutes fraud and is a threat to the health of the person. Article 75.3 A doctor has the duty to inform the athlete of the harmful effects of the different doping procedures. Article 75.4 A doctor who becomes aware that another doctor is carrying out sports doping must notify the competent authority and the Local Medical Association.
